My internet doesn’t work/ I can’t connect to the internet?
Having issues with your Skinny 4G connection? Try the following steps!
- Try moving the modem around in your property - the best place for it is somewhere high, near a window, and away from any other electrical devices that can cause interference.
- Try a factory reset of the modem - hold the reset button at the back of the modem down for a good 5-10 seconds. Please be aware that this also will reset your WiFi Password to the default password.
- Try using an ethernet connection instead of WiFi - it is much more consistent and less prone to interference.
- Try removing the SIM Card from the side of the modem, and reinserting it, making sure the contacts on the modem are flush with those on the SIM.
Alternatively, you can check your account for remaining data by logging into your Skinny Broadband Dashboard.
If you don't have a plan or sufficient data: Sign in to your Skinny Broadband account and either repurchase the 60GB/120GB/300GB plan.
If you do have a plan and sufficient data: Check that the modem is turned on and that your device is connected either by Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.
