Inactive SIM - No top up within 12 months
If you do not Top-Up your Skinny Mobile account for more than 12 consecutive months, the system will convert your number from an active state to an inactive state. While the SIM is in the inactive state, it can only be used for emergency calls only.
You can reactivate your number by topping up $5 or more within 1-month from the date your account has been marked inactive. The Top-Up must be a a recharge voucher which can be purchased from any major supermarket chain or petrol station.
After your account has been inactive for more than 1 month, your account will expire and you will no longer be able to use your number as it will be permanently deleted from the Skinny database. All remaining credit and balances will also expire.
Before your account is marked as inactive, we will notify you three times. We'll text you at three warning points: 1-month before your account is marked for expiry, 1-week before your account expires and 1-day before your account expires.
If you wish to avoid this event and keep your number active, you will need to Top-Up at least once every 12-months before the account expires.
