How do I connect my Wi-Fi device to the modem?

Published 10/06/2016 12.00 AM | Updated 20/08/2019 02.04 PM

To establish a connection, you must connect on the device itself.

On your device, check in 'Settings' to make sure that the Wi-Fi name is visible. (The Wi-Fi name is located on the white sticker on the base of your modem and shows like this: Skinny-B315-XXXX or HUAWEI-B618-XXXX)

If this is visible then make sure that you select the SSID and then enter the password correctly on your device. The original password is found on the bottom of your modem and is labelled "Wi-Fi Key"

If you cannot see the SSID in the settings on your device then restart your modem and ensure that all of the lights are displaying correctly.
